Their big men played well. They executed their stuff to a T. They shared the ball and just did everything they needed to do to win. That's something a veteran team like us should be doing, but a young group like that is doing it.

I just couldn't get in a rhythm. I didn't really want to force anything. I was trying to have the game come to me, but at the end, I had to find a way to put the ball in the basket because I knew my team needed me to score.

I guess we thought we'd arrived a little bit and got a little big-headed (after being ranked). But everything's back in perspective now; we know what we've got to do - that's win games to get to the tournament.

I heard a lot of different things. But I really think it will come down to the workouts and how well I perform during the workouts. And me going against some of the guys that play my position.

I know I am. I watch TV, just like everyone else.

I know everybody was looking forward to the (NCAA) tournament . . . Now, it's kind of like when you don't meet your goal, it's the other one (NIT). But how many basketball games do you get to play in your life? You got to play every game like it's your last one.

I'm fully confident in my abilities and what I can do. If I have to come back here I wouldn't be sad. I would come back to a program where the coaches love me and the students love me. So it wouldn't hurt at all.

I know we had our goal set on the NCAA Tournament and I know we were still hurt by the fact we didn't make it. . . . It kind of showed (Wednesday).

It will be a shootout. I know we like to play an up-and-down game. I think there will be a lot of points put on the board.

I've just got to go back to the drawing board. Me and coach have to sit down, talk about it and see what it takes to get me open. Teams are just playing me harder.
